The optical scanners are extensively used on optical printers, digital copiers or MFP. A laser scanner unit (LSU) contains 6 major optical components
Beam detection lens
The Laser collimator collimate divergent laser beam into less divergent beams and with greater pointing accuracy. The F-theta lens focuses the laser beam into a small spot on the surface of the photo-drum and moves said spot at an uniform speed on the scanned surface. Egismos designed a single element f-theta scanning lens with high performances and of great ease of manufacturing and assembly
